Wigan Genealogy

Interested to trace family of Henry Stephnson Hay & Straw merchant,registered in 1901 as living in Bolton but believed to have lived, and possibly bred shire horses on Hawkley Hall farm Pemberton where records show that a James Stephenson farmed in 1861. I have in my posession clippings of reports of two fires at the farm - unknown dates. He may be the same person as registered (1871) as living in Farnworth where his occupation was Carter.
