Veronica going back to yesterday’s PAD M6 that Mick posted…. You mentioned Cornwall by train,we got stuck on the M5 in 2007 for around 9 hours by floods at Tewkesbury we visited my Aunt that lived in Polruan 3 times a year and stayed at the Crumple Horn at Polperro what part of Cornwall do you enjoy visiting.

John - We went 40 odd years ago with the children to a few places, Poole, Penzance, Mevagissey etc. by car then. This time it was by coach. I went to Poldark Country staying in St Mawes. A lovely hotel overlooking the bay. It was very nice. Hydrangeas growing all over the place in various colours…my favourite shrub. Also went to the place where Ernest Shackleton left from to explore the Antarctic. Very interesting. ;~)
