This Guy Has Been Sat There For a While
Lovely photo John….The poor skeleton must have died waiting for a bite.
Along while by the looks of him.
Poor chaps been on half rations too long .
I have noticed three flags flying in the background .The Union flag the old Lancashire flag but what is the third one please?
Not clever dangling off yon barge with no clothes on is it ?
Not even a life jacket... eh!
Make no bones about it, folk could catch their death doing that.
I'm glad he's landed in Wigan....he favours he could do with a pie!
If that's Wigan, I'll eat my hat.
That really is taking dieting to extremes!
PeterP not sure about the flags, ianp you won’t be eating your hat but it’s heading for Wigan as we start and finish around Platt Bridge before heading home. But where can it be?

Peter it looks like the EU flag
Long time barge owner today strongly denounced claims he was actively breeding piranhas!
Middle flag.
Lest we forget
Good photo John and some humorous comments too.
This Captain is sailing with a skeleton crew.
Could be The Skull and Crossbones.
Veronica going back to yesterday’s PAD M6 that Mick posted…. You mentioned Cornwall by train,we got stuck on the M5 in 2007 for around 9 hours by floods at Tewkesbury we visited my Aunt that lived in Polruan 3 times a year and stayed at the Crumple Horn at Polperro what part of Cornwall do you enjoy visiting.
Cyril like you say very humorous comments.
John - We went 40 odd years ago with the children to a few places, Poole, Penzance, Mevagissey etc. by car then. This time it was by coach. I went to Poldark Country staying in St Mawes. A lovely hotel overlooking the bay. It was very nice. Hydrangeas growing all over the place in various colours…my favourite shrub. Also went to the place where Ernest Shackleton left from to explore the Antarctic. Very interesting. ;~)
