Pirate Tug
Even the canal bank cannot escape the dog poo bag. I like how she has utilised solar panels on the barge.
I love seeing photos with life in them.
They seem glad to pose for you Mick. Good photo of the happy couple and some interesting art work on their barge. My favourite is the understated skull and crossbones.
More like it for me Mick enjoy riding along the towpaths.
A nice colourful picture! Thanks Mick :o)
Heidi (pictured with her dog Bonnie) has a popular vlog, The Narrowboat Pirate, and in the latest episode at Crooke she meets “the legend Derek Bent who works and care for the historic canal barges Ambush and Viktoria. Built around 1930, they are the last remaining unconverted motor and dumb boat. Derek hopes to restore the pair and is desperate for help with fundraising and lottery funding, so if there is anyone that can help, his number is 07837 428588 “

I've looked up this lady on Google, and she has a YouTube channel with videos of her canal adventures. She is known as the Rum Wench. I've
not heard a lady being called a wench for a long time.
Lump hammer placed at her feet, handy for knocking in the mooring stake and clobbering undesirable boarders.. Jolly Rodger style.
She has a vlog on YouTube - Narrowboat Pirate.
It's good that folks are cleaning up after their dog and hopefully it'll be disposed of correctly, and not being thrown and left hanging from a nearby tree.
On first glance I was thinking that a black kitten was sitting on the far solar panel, but it looks to be something else or a reflection.
Quite a difference in today's photo than of late and a good one for canal and boat lovers, also if the background is the rear of Crooke then it now looks to be full of caravans, vans and cars.
Bit late in the day but we have been away for a few days....so no wifi .
That said its a great pic you have shown Mick, a really bright & happy one !
More like it for me Mick enjoy riding along the towpaths.
Very colourful picture Mick, really nice.
Is that a French Bulldog? Whatever breed it is, the dog and its owner look happy and pleased to have their pictures taken.
Nice one Mick, a different photo, you get fed up of building.
A nice lively colourful
scene. I have never cared for the title ’wench’ .
