Not a pub I have ever noticed but good to see it up and running and not and empty vandalised shell like so many these days.
It looks to be run as a Community Pub, I hope it's well supported.

It's official name was the Prince of Wales. But it has been known colloquially as the Jawbone for many, many years. This was what people normally called it when I was growing up in Newtown in the 1960s.
"I'm goin' to t'Jawbone. Art comin'?"

i think it was called the jawbone because of where it is if you looked at it from above it is in the shape of a jawbone. i think.
