What a great photo Dennis & the caption just makes it. Lovely start to the day !
Lovely clear shot Dennis, lets hope the weather gets better, so far been an horrible July.
I love that caption, Dennis! "Gi' us a butty or ah'll tell eawr Donald abeawt thee!" What a cheeky face he's got...... Brightened my morning!
He wouldn't want one of my butties if he knew what was on them - ROAST DUCK!
I can honestly say I’ve never tasted ‘duck’ and seeing him looking over the garden wall I don’t think I ever will. I wonder if he’s Albanian…..
A female Malard duck.
Nice clear shot.
And well deserving of a few beaksful too, how cute.
You aren't missing anything Veronica, I've tried duck and wasn't impressed at all, as it tasted as how trout taste, and that is of pondweed and river mud, I prefer to see them both swimming around a river or lake, they look a whole lot nicer.
for some reason Titch & Quackers came to mind? anyone remember it?
when I was looking for info on it this discussion forum came up,

I too liked Lord Charles, he could tell folks they were a 'silly arse' and get away with it, I also liked The Good Old Days.

Blinking heck, Dennis how do you do it? Wonderful!!
I can imagine the foul taste of a duck pond being in the meat of the duck. It’s the same with trout although perhaps not as bad. That’s why I never buy either Cyril. I love salmon though and have it once a week. Even that is an acquired taste when fresh.
