Bradley
How beautiful Thomas so peaceful
Unless you know the area if the picture did not have a title it could be a well trodden pasture field any where? Who needs to go miles from home with scenery like this on your doorstep. There are plenty of open fields around the Wigan area from Standish in the north to Ashton in the south
Lovely photo, Spring just round the corner....Great.
Cheers Tom.
Nice to see such wide open spaces… hope it stays we need the fields for our ‘mental’ well being…
A good picture of a proper February day's walk . Big sky and open fields . Drizzle and crows in the air . A flask of tea in the bag .
Taken by the Iron Bridge Tom ?
A big sky & open fields, a little like Nth Norfolk where we have Big skies & plenty of big fields too !
Good photo Tom.
How lovely to see a field not being built on. What a peaceful scene.
Seventy percent of Wigan Borough is designated as greenspace. Admittedly, a large portion is reclaimed land, but not most peoples image of a dirty northern town.
Must be one of the few left around Standish.
Thanks everyone - yes Poet, just over the bridge
The playground of my youth.
Nice one Tom, St Wilfrid's steeple on the horizon. There's a few left yet Joan, let's hope it stays that way.
I can honestly say I have never heard of Bradley. You learn something new everyday.

Spring is here.
That's Worthington, looking towards Bradley, with Standish in the background.
Bradley is Standish side of Bradley Brook, that's Worthington side.
