Enter the Unknown
Photo: Mike Lavin (iPhone)
A very artistic picture.
Nice winters pic Mike, nice and crispy I like how Mother Nature has curved the trees, good shot.
Looks like a dog walkers paradise.
Its the path from Hawkley school towards Scotman's flash.
Thats a really great photo, the feathery branches crowding in & a path curving round taking you as the caption says...into the unknown (unless you are local !)
What a cracking photo to wake up to.
Enter it into a competition !
Wow! What a haunting photograph! The lonely, icy path and the tracery of the bare branches conjure up something otherwordly.
"In the bleak midwinter"
Nice pic Mike.
Brrr… it’s a frosty morning wrap up well Jack is still knocking about.
Brrr I need more wood on my fire and a large sherry.
Nice Winter photo Mike.
Great photo Mike, like how the trees make a canopy above the path, and I suppose some would say spooky, but I'd say it has a pleasant characteristic look.
It is Alan, and would look very good sketched with charcoal.

Don't think so, where's the dog poo? Where's the little black dog poo bags hanging from the trees?
You do get a lot of dog muck and dog muck bags hanging from the trees, but there's a Three Sister Friends group who go around regularly tidying the place up.

Mick the dog owners who throw poo bags away without disposing them properly, should be fined a thousand pounds. Not for other people to clean it up.
Thanks for the comments much appreciated.
Usual dog muck moaners at it again, it never gets blamed on the hundreds of foxes that can be seen roaming around the town is it, many folks do leave dog food etc., out for them at night to eat, so if you can tell the difference between the outputs; then you're a better man than the experts.
Same at Mesnes Park sand pit, that was always blamed on dogs - but no it was foxes. So go legging it after the foxes Arthur- if you can catch them that is.
Cyril there are more dogs than foxes. It's not the dogs I'm complaining about it's people like you.
I think cyril is a dog walker who could be guilty. By the way , foxes don't poo in bags, so who ever throws the poo bags in trees, it's not the foxes is it.
How do foxes manage to tie the bags?
Plastic bags will last for hundreds of years, that’s why dog owners fill them with their dog’s poo.
Future generations will, no doubt, thank the dog owners for leaving the remains it Rover’s dinner as samples of doggie DNA for their perusal.
I have started to take my daughters dog for a walk and always clean up but I see many dog owners who cannot be bothered, they disgust me.Cyril where are these hundreds of foxes around town.

Foxes seem to come out at night Pw. There’s was an allotment at the side of my house and a bloke kept some chickens for a while. I used to find egg shells on the lawn in my front garden. How they got there I will never know because the ground is fenced off, plus they left horrible, smelly ‘messages’! Big ones too….
