STUNNING

This is a picture that brings back something l will never forget . Here , on such an evening , I sat and watched a shoal of barbel very slowly swim out of view as they crossed the lake . The sun was setting just like this.

Dusk . Big barbel drifting
Under duck rippled water .
The silent lake a brandy coloured
Remnant of antipodean sun .
Soon it will be dark... Tar dark
With huge barbel
Moving out into the middle lake
When it has finally sunk .

Thanks for this excellent photos and a moment relived .

I stopped dreaming and whipped out my camera to video them.

Mick, is it fair to keep using other peoples photos to advertise your own videos?

David: The photo is exceptionally brilliant, did you use a filter by any chance, the trees are very dark!
Mick: why didn’t you word it differently, instead of copying Poets phrases word for word, your treading on other peoples BarBels.

Worthington Lakes, my husband and son fished here, Sat.,mornings late 70s. Lovely photo David.

John G its because what happened to poet also happened to me, and it was easier to copy and paste what he said than write it all down myself.
And I also thought by showing the video that I would be doing a good turn by showing those viewers of PADS, who only know what a fish looks like if its been battered in the local chippy

Using another person's words without using "quotes" is plagiarism....also bad manners to ''rain on his parade'' by inviting folk to look at your videos Mick. Even though you don't think it is....in other words " stealing that person's thunder"
Quote and unquote...

Having said that I don't think Poet would bother in the least as he is a gentleman through and through! ( not that I know him personally) but that is how he comes across.
