Roby Mill Cottages
Another nice one Mick, really attractive cottages & gardens.....& the sunshine helps.
All very picturesque and neat. It's as if there's a competition going on to have the best garden. I can't make out whether they are the front gardens or the back as they are all very ornamental and formal. Perhaps the fronts as there doesn't seem to be any benches to relax. I think 'Donty Mon' would be proud!
They are so picturesque! What a lovely place to live, xx
My auntie & uncle lived in one of these cottages in the late 50's early 60's.
They didn't have a bathroom an had to go to Grandma's house once a week for a bath.
They are the 'Tan Pit' cottages opposite what was the Star Inn - Roby Mill.
A long history of my family living in these cottages, lovely view of Blackpool Tower when using the outside toilet at the rear !!!
I agree Irene & Veronica,it is a lovely place amongst all the plants and flowers.Monty Don eat your heart out. Well done residents of Roby Mill.
Lovely photo Mick and a lovely area.
