Midas is in the woods . Lighting fires . Of all Dave's brilliant Autumn pictures I like this one best . The trees look like one of those medieval iron baskets for holding hot coals .

Gold is not golden less lit by the sun ,
Green needs to reach it or wither to none ,
Water has jewels of crystal formed gifts ,
thrown by the sunlight
on rainbow born swifts ,Pouring from heaven
the trees break the fall ,
and hand out the sunlight to each reaching call..
