The thing on the left looks like a Partridge

Plenty logs in the making there keeping the home fires burning in the winter.

Looking at the leaves it was already dead. Nature has done it a favour.

I know the feeling! It doesn't look all that old...

That made me laugh, Veronica! I must admit I hate seeing a tree die, especially when I see one being felled, but that one looks as if it went naturally.

Yes Mick, and that partridge looks as though it's had its fair share of tuck - it can't get its belly of the floor.

Irene I bet you hate seeing trees die, especially when I see one being felled, as your sat rocking in your wooden rocking chair

Comment by: Alan on 28th August 2020 at 13:21

That's right Mick, people don't think of trees when they buy a wooden fence, of as you say Irene's rocking chair.

My rocking chair is plastic, Mick. It's lovely for an old lady like me to sit with my crochet-work, dreaming the hours away. I just have to make sure it's not too near the fire.

Well guys, if that's a pheasant on the left, where's the pheasant plucker ( you have to be careful saying that)'
