Clinging Tree
Albion Bungalow, Top Lock in the background.
Photo: Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-WX200)
More like pinch the fence.
I am begining to recognise your photos Dennis !
Yes Helen me to, the clue is looking out for the name Dennis Seddon (Sony DSC-WX200)
This just shows how much more powerful nature is compared to anything man made. I wonder how long it will be before those bars bend. Reminds me of an old twisted tree behind my garden fence!
Uncanny. Walked past this very same spot yesterday am and stopped and examined this phenomenon - of trees enveloping metal items!
Well done Dennis, typical of your approach. Always look on the bright side. Don't change do you !!.
No 'Sally garden' that's for sure, just 'a garden with a willow wanting solace' - the tree showing stress avoidance. Yet from fatigue comes fortitude, and from this fellow's monumental wrap, stability to his neighbouring rusty fence - a far cry from wounds of wanton mock ... number-plates and things.
I wonder how old that tree is?...how long has it stood there in all weathers?
Day of the Triffids !
Yes Helen your right, I can always tell Dave Oys he's are always top draw superb crystal clear photos.
No Mick, you are wrong there....its the pic I see before I look at the name of who took it...same with DTease's pics.
Well I cant tell who as taken what until I see the name.
I can with the photo quality and great scenery. Dave 0y stands out out above the rest.
Arthur by making comments like that you could be putting off Wiganer snappers submitting to PADs, who dont have state of the art camera equipment and computer skill to get photos like what you like.
Mick fair do's but my point is "you can tell who has took the photo before you look at the snappers name". Frankly, I like them all, but sertin ones stand out.
Go and have a look at todays photo Arthur, and have a guess at who snapped it.
But I already know now, look mick I'm not falling out with you, you have taken some great photos in your time.
