Photo-a-Day (Thursday, 5th September, 2019)
Leeds Liverpool Canal
Nice photo Thomas, great sky, but with it being the canal it will get the Canadian bacon sizzling.
Exotic photo Thomas, looks like this was taken from the Iron Bridge, with the you know what bridge a little ways on the left.
This is a wonderful picture. It would be worthy of a very high place in any photographic competition in the world. Many congratulations to the photographer!
When evening shadows turn to blue,
it means the day is no longer new....
What a beautiful shot Thomas...I love it,the colours look like they're straight off an artists palette.
Best Photo yet !. Brilliant Thomas you captured the scene beautifully, Well done.
Is that the little boathouse bridge that I can see in the shadows
Nice, subdued grass verges, as well, Thomas.
Canal comatose!
Dusk coming quickly on,
All still but for Eels and Owls,
A russet crack of fox on the far horizon.
Silence but for the evening rise
Of lapping halos
Not a stir.
Soon the light will fade
And open the lid of a jewelry box.
Stunning! I can almost feel the chill. xx
Definitely photo shopped.
iwalk along there twice a day every day, never seen it look so good, well done !!!
Smashing shot, Thomas.
Beautiful colours.
Absolutely beautiful, looks like a painting.. Well done...
Mick,,,,tis.
Ted,,, would that be there and back?
Ted it looks different when viewed through a camera.
Of lapping halos. Poet's back! Hurray!
My turf. Great shot. Apple magic on show!
Above and below ,
reflections and more ,
water turned glass ,
blue chilled and fading ,
dying lights parading ,
a mystical shading
that feints to be more.
What box is this treasure ,
laid bare to measure
a god given grace ,
to cherish and place
in a moment of space
we hold for just now ..
