Viktoria and Ambush
I have read Mick,s remarks and after stepping back a bit I thought that the remarks were tongue-in cheek, if Mick was banned we would all miss the hundreds / thousands of photos by him. Should he apologies, maybe, maybe not. I hope I have given a moderate view.
Good shot Mick, at first glance I thought it was Victoria and Albert.
Oldest pair of boats in Wigan, some do say that they are haunted by the bargees children and you can hear the sound of there clogs as they run about
The real Victoria and Albert had 9 children - so that's a lot of clogs running about! I'm not really into boats - apart from sailing across the Channel or the Irish Sea - I couldn't resist! .....
As usual Mick does seem to have an aptitude for putting his 'clog' in it - this time I think he was trying to be ' humorous' and certainly did not know he was talking about Ron! The man himself does not 'appear' to be offended, although I can't quite see Ron going in B&M to argue the toss over 50p!
You are quite right Ken in what you say, all as I did was try to answer the question being asked which was 2 Legends in one photo. The lad on the left is a professional sportsman.
So I had a guess at netball because of the lad height, and I also said the owd fellow on the right looks like somebody who you would see in B&M bargains complaining that something he had bought for 50p a year ago was broken, I said this because I know Ron does like a bargain, he told me so when he was sat with his feet under our dining table enjoying a couple of beers as he was picking up a computer that I was giving to him
Now can you see Ken that he does not respond to any comments regarding his bad manners, all to do with attention seeking, always has been and always will be.
I think Ken R is on the right wavelength in his assumption of Micks remarks were tongue in cheek which didn't quite hit the mark as intended. I know he can be very annoying at times in what appears to be upset to him but credit should be paid to the number of photos he sends in.
Oh! Well that explains it - this time!
' Carry On Up The Cut' .....again and again!
Anne Ive been receiving nasty comments from the same woman for years now, but I never respond
A few weeks ago I put on a photo of a motorbike passing me on the canal bank, my comment where he turned off and headed up towards the Beech hill council estate.
Tonker ever said that the motorbike wasnt registered, but I was praised for showing this law breaker I was shouted at for mentioning council estate.
If I lived up that way I would have been doing some investigating and then reporting him, because if he is involved in an accident, it could end up haunting him for the rest of his life
Mick has certainly generated some heat, which leaves me wandering if followers of P.A.D., look forward to seeing his next comment. He does his share without doubt.
See that Ron has sensibly not come back on this one.
Agree with Ken R's., first comment of today.
I like narrow boats & canals, the pic is a bit quirky and I have to say I like it, whoever posted it.
I don’t think this is owt to do with how many pictures Mick posts . I personally greatly enjoy his videos as he puts himself absolutely everywhere. This is of huge value
to someone like me who no longer resides in Wigan .
I think it’s all about who got the joke .
As Mick posts today , he knows Ron .
Ozy , Ken R got it . . I was absolutely mortified when I read Mick’s post , so missed it completely ! Who knows , maybe Mick was wanting this reaction, in order to reveal the joke later . A bit like that film with Eric Sykes , What was it called The Plank ?
Hope you all see his nasty comments again on 'General' titled 'Cow'..having another pop at council tenants..the pillock.
