Worsley Mesnes

Surely that's a dwelling....

the whole van was left? I hope it was traced

Comment by: Anne on 6th May 2019 at 09:49

Looks like it doesn't want to be traced, can't see any reg. number on the back. Most unusual to park so tidily for a dumped vehicle.

Comment by: Roy on 6th May 2019 at 10:03

No rear registration plate, so I would imagine the front one has been removed as well.

Comment by: WN1 Standisher on 6th May 2019 at 10:22

It'll have a chassis number which could be used to trace the reg number. Looks like they had been recycling the cardboard then had second thoughts and dumped the lot. Probably a MOT failure.

I hope the powers that be catch up with the 'fly by nights'..and fine them till the 'pips squeak'.

Its parked in a street with no name one street up from Fairbrother st and at the back of Worsley Mesnes Heath centre.
Its been there for over a year now and can be seen on Google maps.
If anybody set fire to it the whole Heath centre could go up, cause millions of pound worth of damage

the van body looks in good condition, I should imagine its worth a bob or three, easily transferable to another chassis.

Should Banksy decide to have a 'bash' at this vehicle's side panel, he'd do well to avoid the neighbouring Tippings frontage as its subject matter - his effort could run the risk of it being misconstrued. Alright is 'The Tippings', and yeah, I think a portal - perhaps with a boot scraper on each side - would look just dandy.
