Mick, do you wear a disguise when you go out? Going by your shadow it looks like you are wearing a cowboy hat and the kind of ankle length Mac our gasman used to wear in the 1950s. He had a bike like you as well.

What a disgusting mess - nothing but scum responsible. Is this the future generation that Wigan will be left to? ( 'England might well tremble')....

Thanks for posting this chronic indictment on Wigan's cleanliness. This site is the filthiest I have seen on the LL canal (the biggest single concentration of trash anywhere in Wigan?) and the land skirting the stretch of canal from the Britannia Bridge up to Rosebridge is also heavily contaminated with discarded beer cans. This has been here for many months now and, as its on private land, the Council / Canal and River Trust Volunteers will not touch it. But the Council must use their powers to get the landowners to clear it - its a massive embarrassment to the town.

Wonder if they ever imagined back in the 1950s when plastic production began what a bane to the planet it would become.

Looks like it could be a drinking den for the present day "snowflakes".

Tommy T...snowflakes was the term I was going to use in my rant the other day about the future generations but refrained but you are right they are snowflakes...they melt at the first sign of trouble !

Good thinking Mick, no one will ever recognize you dressed like that. Do you have the corks dangling on strings around your hat to keep the flys off?
