Excellent pic, David.

Well done. Brightened up my face when I opened my pc this morning.

At this time of year
The discerning eye focuses
On row upon row
Of beautiful crocuses

There is nothing like the sight of Spring flowers. There are two blossoming cherry trees near Abram park and I taught my grand-daughter Edie, when she was about five, to stand and look up through the blossom at the blue sky, and told her she will never see a lovelier sight....and it's FREE!

See..I meant it David..and I wasn't even at home when the second comment came on.

Thank you David. Beautiful photo.

Such beauty to behold and all in complimentary colours, nothing clashes in nature....

Irene, I do exactly the same thing every year when the cherry blossom is in bloom - I stand underneath and the contrasting blue sky through the branches is fantastic. A sight to treasure. I store it in my memory box!
A superb photograph David.

I realise it's a bit of a long shot David, but you didn't happen to come across my top set when you were up there in Marylebone park by any chance did you mate? Its been a while now and it's all become a bit hazy, and I'll admit I'd had a few scoops at the time, but I distinctly recall that they made their bid for freedom in the general area of your photograph. Thanking you in anticipation.
Regards.

Oh no!

Comment by: DTease on 18th March 2019 at 22:31

Someday in the future, Ozy your top set will turn up again and Baldrick will spend weeks and weeks digging up the park looking for the rest of your skeleton. When all the digging is done the only thing they will find his the skeleton of a large dog with it’s skull frozen into a toothless grin.
And right beside it will be Alan’s sense of humour, also frozen solid.

Perhaps a new name is called for Ozy- how about Gabby Heyes?

Hibernation must be over now.

Just read the above and it set off an alarm. Shouldn't Dtease's verse say something like-
'At this time of year,
To the delight of one's eye,
We see row upon row
Of beautiful croci'.
