Some moneys worth
Are you including the bike in that statement.
Nice bike! And picture Mick,
yea! great bike!
There’s something sad about a person who needs to go about in a mauve Rolls Royce to make an impression in the world.
I don't think I would ever have any peace owning or driving cars like those. I prefer the blue one though...Mauve is a bit too opulent.... Especially if you are just popping to Tesco's.
DTease that car never goes anywhere, I believe it belongs to one of the directors of the Contessa Hotels who has taken up residence there.MR Baker or Mr Barker, there is usually a black one as well,a bit of a shambles at the moment what is happening up there, spoiling the area around the Hall completely a mess, shame for the people of Wigan to loose one of their heritages to these outsiders who have ne respect for the countryside.
Reminds me of the Norman Wisdom film where he was on his bike leaning on the side of jerry Desmonds limo. (:
The old Gas Lamp looks good.
And heres me thinking of the deprived The North.....only joking spare me the brickbats !!
It is a very well maintained bike Mick.
Good photo Mick, I might be a ex-pat but I can still recognize the Sam Allardyce car. Is he still managing a top line team?
I will never understand the snobbery over cars. Whether they're an old Minx like our Dorothy, or a Rolls Royce, they are boxes on wheels that get you from A to B. The only things those Rolls have that our Dorothy hasn't is seat belts!
If I had a car like those or any new car for that matter I would always be looking for scratches and other marks.
Helen, the blue Bentley belongs to the Paperboy. He just happened to be delivering at the time.
I agree with the sentiments about cars getting you from A to B,however I wouldn't want to drive in a car without seatbelts in this day and age.
They must be compensating for something .
Or a lack of something Poet.
