I have often wondered if this lady is now part of M&S staff! Seriously, she always has a beaming smile on her face... And is very polite and greets one and all .... Even if you don't buy ' the 'Beeg Ishooo'! At least she doesn't sit on the pavement with a begging bowl in front of her. She is quite popular after quite a number of years in the same spot.
A very pleasant woman. She used to be a regular Big Issue seller outside the larger Co-op in Standish until it closed. She then got a pitch near M&S in town.

She's a lovely person..always with a smile, no matter what the weather is like.
Sorry folks. "What is the Big Issue?" Is it one of those free Leaflet thanks for the donation scams?

I always bought the Big Issue till the day I saw the seller leave her car in the car park & walk down to her pitch in the High street....
She's a beautiful person; we've known her for many years, know a lot about her background before and after her mum died just over 2 years ago, and what she does for some members of her family. We ring her regularly when not in town, and have bought things that we know have made a big difference to her sister and her family.
Spoke to this young lady this morning- I told her there was a lovely photo of her on WW- she didn't know about it! I tried explaining but she didn't understand... Then she said her usual .... "Have a nice day".....With a beaming smile!
Seems they make a career out of this big issue selling. Return them whence they came and stop them being a burden on this country.
