Wrightington Fish Pond
Good picture Mick. I see you are using your helicopter now instead of your bike.
Nice to have a helicopter on the back lawn.
The last time I drove past that view there wasn't a car there, there was a helechopper!
David have you heard of Specsavers
I wonder how many air miles that little duck will clock up in its lifetime. More than the helicopter I shouldn’t wonder.
The mole that’s been busy on this beautifully manicured lawn Is a busy little bee, as it’s also been digging furiously in our field!
Good photo Mick, I suppose the structure on the left is the departure lounge.
Yes, Pat, the moles really are busy little things. I believe that the old plantsmen bagged the molehills, and sometimes then mixed them with other lovelies such as builders rubble, loam made from upturned divots, soot, and perhaps a bit of horse manure for 'swagger.' But Oh, how their plants shone on the showbenches. I remember how a schoolmate sometimes gave his Percy Thrower impersonation by him saying 'I reckon the answer lies in the soil.' Good old Percy, and still celebrated.
Some toast the gentleman in the velvet waistcoat , and others don't.
