Photo-a-Day (Tuesday, 9th May, 2017)
Lisa Nandy M.P.
Photo: John Morris (Nikon D700 with 24-85mm lens.)
She might have done her audience the courtesy of turning up properly dressed.
Lisa started to look like she enjoys her dinners.
Sexist dinasors would you make personal comments like that about a bloke.
Mick, I hope you remembered to wear your crash helmet before making that comment.
Pleased to see that the offensive sexist comment has been removed.
The campaign is completely nonpolitical ,its soul purpose is remember our mining past and the terrible price paid by all involved , having said that I think Lisa Nandy should be thanked for supporting the cause so enthusiastically.
I have just read my comment ,I should of course said "sole purpose ". However we are as a group putting our "heart and soul" into the campaign !

Lisa started to look like she enjoys her dinners.
Maybe so but she's a lot more liked than you.
Well said Tom, folks should appreciate Lisa in taking time out from her busy schedule to support local events and campaigns.
Cyril she could have tidied herself up a bit before coming.
Even her notes that shes holding looks like they are written on a scrap of paper.
But who knows maybe shes dressed down somewhat to blend in with the rest of the Wigans female community
Sexist , Racist, Homophobic, Anti Semitic, Communist, Marxist , Pagan, Anti Muslim , Anti Jew . Where does it end. So much for our democracy, so much for the free voice.
Just shut up and agree ! How dare you have
an opinion or your own point of view. The bird in a cage.. Ler it free! Your words Mick,do not worry me one jot, but others it cleary does. To deny any form of expression
only puts the bird back into the cage.
Speaking for myself, I like Mick, although in all honesty I probably wouldn't vote for him. But then again, I didn't vote for Lisa Nandy either. In fact, how many people in Wigan actually did I wonder? Seems to me we were just lumbered with her.
Good shot - I like Lisa me - she's a goodun :)
Democracy also means respect for fellow human beings ...not Illmannered and personal insults about how they look!
Bad dressing isn't confined to one political party. Saint Theresa very often turns out looking like something that just fell off a Rag-n-Bone cart.
Yes Theresa has a funny choice of clothes and she is being dressed by Vivian Westwood, but Teresa look clean and tidy when she is out in the public unlike this photo of Lisa, who by the way I know personally.
I assure you, Mick, that many Wigan females take care with their appearance, me for one.
Mick, does your remark on Wigans females apply to your other half as well.
I can think of a number of MPs Michael Foot,Shirley Williams, Ann Widdicombe none of them in the fashion industry...just jobbing politicians ....free to dress and look as they pleased - large or small! Also free to speak out as we all are - even if it's verbal diarrhoea that issues forth at times from some quarters.
By the way I think Lisa is a bonny brown eyed girl and no I don't know her!
Mick, are you saying that Lisa doesn't keep herself clean? When in a hole Mick it's usually best to stop digging.
I'm a brown-eyed girl too, Veronica, (or should that be brown-eyed old lady?!).
Then mick wonders why know on likes him.
I like him.
I don't think anyone dislikes Mick ...he just has the unfortunate habit of hopping round with his foot in his mouth! He take free speech to another dimension! A bit like Bush with Bette Middler!
Should have said Trump oops!
Julie... its called "freedom of speech" It was something millions of British soldiers died for in 1939-45. I'd much rather read and hear any comments offered by anyone (derogatory or otherwise) than see them stifled.
Have a re read Lynne!! You address it to me
but say what I say?
Can I also add one for Mick.
We are all different both physically and mentally. When we say... this is how 'we , as a group' see it ,
for me , does not summount the individual voice.
For me, someone , who stands true to his or her principles , taking the flak, says simply this is who 'I am'. Which I respect more than any group mentality .
A glitch somewhere, Julie? I was actually agreeing with you.
My post should have read As Julie wisely states...Its called "freedom of speech"...
Very odd.
freedom of speech is only allowed if its acceptable
