Ever since 'bumping into him' in the NatWest and realising what the opposition were up against I cannot see that even he will do good for trade.
Takes nothing away from the piccy.

Shaun Edwards the best wigan rugby player for me.

Comment by: britboy on 27th November 2016 at 15:00

I can just see him tearing down the wing shaking of the opposition like swotting flies!

Well britboy, I saw him his whole career at Wigan, and he was the best ever. Eric Ashton used to give him the ball with five or six men to beat and he did it on a regular basis.By the way a great pic of the man himself

Fifteen years or so ago I bumped into a ex Whitehaven player by the name of Frank Snow. Frank told me he had played against Billy in the late 1950s, and still had the scars saying Billy was the most difficult player ever to tackle and had nothing but respect for the man. I was lucky enough to watch Billy play on many occasions when I was a young lad "thanks" Billy and "thanks" Dave for a great photo of one of the best players ever to pull on a Wigan Rugby shirt.

Aye, Billy is a true star and very befitting to turn on the lights of Wigan.

Who is the young lad with him, he'll remember that night.

red top, dont try and spoil a good thread, you probably never saw Billy play, have some respect for a great ambassador of the game.

Respect is a word lacking today, jonno.
