If I were to go by the clocks,(which I don't rely upon)-I would say at your computer and photoshopping! However, since I do think your not that kind of guy, I'll say I've no idea where you were. Good picture as always!

More than likely on your feet .

Top of town somewhere, Parish tower perhaps, what was the REAL time that the photo was taken Dave ? the two clocks tell a different story.

Comment by: Roy on 26th November 2016 at 01:39

Roof of grand arcade at a second guess.

Great pic, must have been taken from the top of the grand arcade

Comment by: Iinda massa on 26th November 2016 at 06:46

Comment by: Anne on 26th November 2016 at 08:35

You've done it beautifully once again.
I should think taken from the top of the galleries car park right in the corner overlooking the open market.

Comment by: Fred Mason on 26th November 2016 at 08:46

The clocks have different times, so have these photos been photoshopped perhaps?

Very interesting either way, Dave.

Comment by: Linda on 26th November 2016 at 09:52

As usual, a great photo, Dave. Interesting features.

Comment by: Aubrey on 26th November 2016 at 12:13

Was it the Scholes flats? Probably Derby House.

Comment by: Kas on 26th November 2016 at 12:42

Far away, using zoom lens.

Comment by: Dave Lewis on 26th November 2016 at 13:45

Nice pick Dave, was you on galleries car park, linacre clock been out a while now they are supposed to be rectifying it.

Comment by: Dave (Oy) on 26th November 2016 at 15:55

The market tower clock is correct.

I was on the Grand Arcade but not on the car park. On the "Green Roof" viewing area. If you look up from the Wiend you can see the metal and glass fence around it.

Comment by: Alex on 26th November 2016 at 17:45

You can see where Dave took the photo on P-a-D 25/12/2015.

Comment by: Ticsmon on 26th November 2016 at 20:15

Both clocks will show the correct time twice every day.

Comment by: Dave (Oy) on 27th November 2016 at 18:37

Not so Ticsmon. Only a broken clock is correct twice a day. Both of these are working I think.

Comment by: Ticsmon on 27th November 2016 at 19:26

OK Dave, but my comments referred to the (different) times on you photo.
