Photo-a-Day (Saturday, 26th November, 2016)
Two clocks and a cafe
If I were to go by the clocks,(which I don't rely upon)-I would say at your computer and photoshopping! However, since I do think your not that kind of guy, I'll say I've no idea where you were. Good picture as always!
More than likely on your feet .
Top of town somewhere, Parish tower perhaps, what was the REAL time that the photo was taken Dave ? the two clocks tell a different story.
Roof of grand arcade at a second guess.
Fantastic shot Dave
Great pic, must have been taken from the top of the grand arcade
But which clock is showing the right time?
On the Galleries car park
GA Car park?
Top floor of the car park Dave!
Somewhere high up
top floor the market car park?
You've done it beautifully once again.
I should think taken from the top of the galleries car park right in the corner overlooking the open market.
The clocks have different times, so have these photos been photoshopped perhaps?
Very interesting either way, Dave.
As usual, a great photo, Dave. Interesting features.
On the top floor of the Galleries car park.
Clock on Thomas Linacre centre is wrong it has not been working right for a while I walk past every morning
Haigh Hall!
Multi-story-carpark.could be two photos in one. clocks different time.
Top of the Queens Hall building .......just a guess!
Was it the Scholes flats? Probably Derby House.
Far away, using zoom lens.
Nice pick Dave, was you on galleries car park, linacre clock been out a while now they are supposed to be rectifying it.
The market tower clock is correct.
I was on the Grand Arcade but not on the car park. On the "Green Roof" viewing area. If you look up from the Wiend you can see the metal and glass fence around it.
You can see where Dave took the photo on P-a-D 25/12/2015.
Both clocks will show the correct time twice every day.
Not so Ticsmon. Only a broken clock is correct twice a day. Both of these are working I think.
OK Dave, but my comments referred to the (different) times on you photo.
Fairy Nuff :)
