Lagoon
Lovely photo Ron, your on a run of gud uns. Could this be a "Constable?" by some chance.
Sorry I'm back again. Someone asked what a 'by wash' was, this is a beautiful shot of the 'by wash'. Photo mid right.
Surprising to see the canal full of water at this point.
England's green and pleasant land.
Reminiscent of an Impressionist painting -could be somewhere in the Dordogne!!!!
I really like this photo, probably the best canal shot for a long time.
I learned to swim in that lock!! and we knew it as 'The Rockies' NEVER the 'Rabbit Rocks'
Thank you so much for this lovely photo. it came at the right time for me, life is very hard at the moment & this did a lot of good.

Maybe a JMW Turner! I dont think Constable ventured this North!
Nice shot of a lovely spot!
FootNote: Well done to all us LEAVE voters! :O)
A very uplifting and beautiful photograph - thank you Ron.
Maggie - I hope that life gets better for you very soon - I can see how you'd feel cheered by such a lovely scene.
I grew up in Ince and we always called it The Rabbit Rocks; I imagine the name varied from district to district.
It's a lovely shot Ron..so easy on the eye in different shades of green..P.S Maggie..I'm sending you a hug.keep your pecker up lass.
Lovel peaceful scene, well shot Ron.
Maggie I hope you feel better soon. Remember nothing lasts forever. X
As a kid loved the walk after tea from Holt Street to Top Lock...thanks for the memories Ron. God bless Maggie.
