Obviously a pair (Drake & Duck)..You wouldn't expect such exotic birds to be seen on a Wigan pond...Just shows the diversity of wild life that abound this area..Great pic, colours captured so well!

Lovely photograph David.

Such beautiful colours/markings on the male bird. It would appear that most male birds such as pheasants, peacocks, finches, etc, are a lot more colourful than the females, who can look quite dowdy.

Thank goodness it's the opposite in us humans, eh ladies?!!
