The piggery
My grandaughter whose a Peppa Pig fan would luv this pic!
What breed are they...and dare I say it...are they tasty?
Nice bunch of saddlebacks, bacon on the hoof. Some people don't like pigs, I think they are great.
Never realised there was a Newcastle United supporters club in Haigh!
This shot captures the reassuring nature of pigs.
I like this image, one of the most unusual and interesting for a while.
Saddle back, may be lucky and find a truffle.
Another good photo Ron. Johnny they are saddlebacks I believe, but don't let your granddaughter hear you asking if they are tasty!!! I should imagine they are, especially reared like this.
Ithink they are Saddlebacks.
David Attenborough reckons these pigs are specially reared to forage for Truffles only found in the grounds of Haigh Hall. They are distant cousins of the Peppa Pig family!
Thanks folks for your informative comments!
Looks like bacon butties are off the menu for a while, John!
The Pigs are doing a very good job clearing all the shrubs from Haigh plantations, so well done to Wigan council.
A great pic of the pigs, thanks Ron Dawber, I particularly like the bottom curly tail just caught in it :o)

Pigs, eh ! Here's me thinking it was a TRUMP Party convention in the USA.
You are completely wrong, Alan.
The photo was taken over here..therefore it is a cabinet meeting...!!!!!!
Are they foraging uphill or down though?
