Train

That's on it's way to Ince, through to Hindley. By the way, I can't sleep.
It wont be long until these types of shake rattle and roll trains will be no more.
I wonder if in years to come will there be groups of train enthusiasts men working away restoring them and train enthusiasts passengers with there wives queuing up to have a ride on them.
I go on this train at least twice a week whether it shakes ,rattles or rolls its still better than a ride on the bus! I hope these trains are going to be replaced - you have me worried Mick! 9 mins on train as opposed to nearly an hour on the bus.
This is a "Sprinter" and these are relatively comfortable. It is the "Pacers" (4 wheels per carriage) that are due to be replaced first. Interesting viewpoint Danny. Either are more comfortable than the bus though the Pacers do feel like they have square wheels!
John Morris is spot on, it's the "Pacers" with the single wheel bogies, horrible ride.

Premier Inn (Blue and white) - Extreme left. Notice how the cosmetic work on the exterior breaks up the regular pattern of windows.
