Not my cup of tea, Frank Orrell's photo's of old Wigan shops is much better. I think is time we reverted back to how Wigan was and loved before it's too late. These shopping Mals do nothing for me.

Could be anywhere. And thats the problem with these soulless shopping centres, No character and nothing distinctive to Wigan apart from photos of the Casino etc. We lived for many years in Watford and this could just as easily be the the Harlequin Centre. or the Galleries in Bristol near where we now live. And that's the truble all these centres are clones of each other replacing what used to be distinctive and individual townscapes which really defined YOUR town as distinct from anywhere else. Rant over !

Tried a pasty at this cafe not long after the Grand arcade opened, it was served luke warm and not the best quality I ever had.

I agree with Carolaen, it could be anywhere.(However I imagine there are many places with more inspired Christmas decorations!)---or maybe they've only just begun?

Everybody's got different tastes, it all depends what you eat.

It has no attraction for me,
Cafe or the shopps.

I think the Galleries is more pleasant than the Grand Shopping, it,s a fair walk from the entrance to where Debenhams is.
