Sorry Colin, i thought you had took it on board, from your last photo, this seems very false to me.

Nice photo. He seems to be travelling rather quick through a narrow space what are the rules on speeds?

A great photo, or it would have been without HDR mode. I'm not a photographer and I don't appreciate how HDR makes a better picture.

Another one butchered!
Not easy on the eyes - reminds me of my first coach trip, with Smith`s, to London in July 1953 and saw the film `House of Wax`. It was in 3D and you had to wear special specs which weren`t easy on my eyes.

I do like the HDR effect. In the past I have paid to have a photo altered to give an oil painting finish. This does it for you.

I like your comment Ernest,,, Another one butchered! also saw it used on the boat photo of Moss Bridge looking towards Poolstock

I am a fan of HDR, although not this 'grunge' look (speaking solely for myself). I much prefer the natural look HDRs. But there is no right or wrong here, it is all down to personal taste. The grunge look can be very effective with old buildings and vehicles. I don't think this canal and boat subject works however. But again, that is just my opinion.

Colin,
You can please some of the people some of the time etc.
I am one of the some of the people..
I am fully aware you are experimenting and the results will eventually please more of the people. Who knows?

LOVE this photo Colin! Always great to see experimentation when taking and editing photographs. Very effective!
