Ernest just seen your comments on 11 Sept yes we will be visiting both Queenstown and Milton Sound, we are staying overnight on the sound in a hotel boat.
Yes we like to park up at Astley Hall and then walk down through the park to Chorley town centre and last week the hall was open for visitors.
On Sunday we went to Todmorden and there town hall was open for visits so we went in there as well.

Now then Ron, I very rarely comment on photos on this forum, but that one's a beaut. Also, it appears to have been taken from the recently renovated path, unless I'm very much mistaken.
Sour grapes, now what's that all about ? Mick has merely stated that this is the most photographed bridge in the Wigan area, which is undoubtably the case, for the simple reason that it is the most photogenic..... in my view at any rate. Come on now, give the bloke a break.
