Saddle
Nice photo Mick, busy with traffic but no pedestrians, also lots of places To Let. A sign of the times I guess.
Most of my Mams relations came from this area, when we travelled on the bus to visit them, my mum just asked for one and two halves, saddle please, as a child I didn't have a clue it was the name of a pub, and by the way. Newtown? Was it really a New Town
When did you take the photo Mick? I can see the old Seven Stars pub beyond the bridge; the pub was demolished a couple of years ago.
Mick; I`m amazed by this photo, which was taken when weather conditions were ideal. It`s an unusual viewpoint. What I think is the Atrium in Galleries is prominent behind the Queens Hall. The amount of greenery is surprising.
This does not look anything like the Saddle to me.
What's happened to Garry Mick?
Where has the Wigan I knew gone?
Very interesting Mick, you must have had quite a good zoom for this shot.
Lovely clear colourful picture thanks Mick
