Great shot.
Neil, that is just a beautiful shot.

Lovely photo
Great shot Neil!
I might turn this into a painting. A number of washes "wet into wet".
Bellissimo!
Well captured,Neil.
That's lovely, Neil. The cloud to the right, that the bare branch seems to be pointing at, looks like a big dragonfly!
Beautiful Neil.
A Beautiful photo Neil... I grew up in North Ashton, how many of those sunrises did I see, but took them all for granted...I have to admit I am in tears looking at this photo, it being so close to 'home' and to Christmas, missing my family and friends... Neil would you tell me where you were standing whilst taking this photo, so I can ( in my mind) be standing there, whilst looking at the Photo... Thank you, Wishing you a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year......
Thank you all for the kind comments. Can't believe there is no comment telling me it was taken at sunset in mid June! Ha ha.
If I had to put a name on this snap I would name it Lesley Hornby
Janet I was about halfway between St Aidan's Church and the cross roads at Leyland Green on Newton Raod. I was heading over to Abram and just had to pull over, run across the road and shoot. Always pays to carry a camera. God bless and Happy Christmas.I am so glad the photo makes you happy.
Ok Mick, I,m always up to improve my knowledge. Why/who/what, is?
Good one Mick, took me a minute to tumble to the reference
Ann, Lesley Hornby .....Twiggy
Looks like it was taken in June!
Thanks Neil, I grew up on Leyland Green Rd....I miss 'views', there are hundreds of views all around Wigan and district. It's all trees where I live, no views, no sunsets or rises, same thing with the moon, only when it's up high in the sky....
You little tinker, Garry!
Twiggy or Lesley Hornby's father was from Bolton!
