Interesting composition Mick. I've been told that when driving this motorway through under Moor Road they broke into old mine galleries and found a jacket hanging on a nail. Anyone know more?I am thinking it was the old Burgy Pits

At the start of this repair, the first job to be tasked was the speed cameras to be set up ( in the name of "health and safety" of course) Surely turning the street lighting would have been more benifical.

Neil, it is true old pit workings were found when the Orrell section of the Skelmersdale Bypass (M58) was built, not sure about the jacket on the nail though.
