A walk is much better by yourself, you can hear the birds singing, instead of hearing you lot talking. This is a controlled walk, which is not the same.

what side of bed you got up garry lol lots of folk appreciate this kind of walk ,where conversation might not come in their way of life ,if they live alone for eg ,gud on em

It might be a controlled walk, but at least these walks get people out and making new friends and getting healthier

Yes i agree with gary, when your with other people you cant stop and admirer the scenery, walks are much better with just you and the dog.

A walk, is a walk, is a walk! Doesn't matter how many people you do it with, so long as you do it.

There are benefits to both, being on your own and in a group.sometimes it's nice to have a chat.

Must admit I am also a 'loner'. Not much into trivia and inconsequential chat!
To each his own, I suppose.

Sometimes it's nice to get away from people, and gather your thought and enjoy the scenery. I can understand some lonely folk walking with others, but people like myself who work in a office full of people, it's so nice to get away from it all.

Most of the people in the photo are pensioners who feel more secure in a group.
