River Way
Photo: Dan Highton (Canon EOS 5D)
It is good to see that Wigan is maintaining a lot of greenery, the canopy is very important. This shot tested my brain cells.
look at that stormy sky!
Im sure thats me waiting with my bike at the pelicon crossing on Harrogate st and River way
That is one brilliant shot Dan..everything is so clear.
an excellent photograph, the downside is it could be anywhere on Earth.
Nice to see these places from so far away in the world.... Thank you Dan.... Cheers!!!
What a grey day! Excellent photo, Dan.
A.W. It could be anywhere on Earth but Wiganers should know where it is. There's not just Haigh Hall to see in Wigan.
Everything is very clear, as you say Maureen - including the green mould on the newly-fitted panels on the Scholes flats. Was creating a vertical garden in the design brief for the job?
those panels were fitted 5 years ago, so hardly new Rev....they are currently testing new renders on the side of one. Wonder if the matching Premier Inn will go the same way?
Nice photo. Green is to be appreciated whether on trees or buildings. A generation ago it was practically non-existent near the town centre.
A.W. if you don't think that photo has been taken on River Way, you don't know Wigan.
