Great shot Michael with lovely reflections - right place right time. It always amuses me though how some contributors to this page always find a negative point!

Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures that come on here. I went out this morning to find that my car had been vandalised, & to see this has cheered me up so much.

Thanks for all your comments. I was on my way to the bird hide to take a picture of the woodpecker and as Janice said I was in the right place at the right time and I thought it was rude not to take the shot.

I love it, the colour of the sky is amazing... Is that frost or a dusting of snow on the footpath, looks cold...Thank you Michael...

Comment by: Michael Collier on 16th January 2014 at 14:23

Hi Janet it's a light dusting of jack frost

Perfect picture.

Mick,
It should either be more tidy, or, tidier. It cannot be more tidier.

Anyway, exactly where is the alleged untidiness???

Comment by: Christine on 17th January 2014 at 22:04

I think Mick means the bits of driftwood in the water at the edge.
I don't think he meant any offence.

Anyway I always choose either sunrise or sunset pictures, they are just so peaceful.
Great shot bet it was chilly though? brrrr
