Recognised the author of this image before I saw the name! Superb shot Dave. Never been in the Town Hall - it looks fabulous.

A cracking shot, a master at work. The correct lens for the job. Great depth of field & sharpness through out. All verticals very well maintained. Great shot with a lot of thought gone into it. I love it

I guess such a degree of embellishment, reflects the aspirations of a TOWN investing in its future (education), as opposed to present times, when decisions are more likely to have emanated from state officials.

No doubt, this is one of Wigan's best surviving buildings, funny the council haven't earmarked it for demolition!

The steps should have been cleaned first. Preperation is a must for good photos.
