New Inn, Ratcliffe Road, Aspull

New Inn, Ratcliffe Road, Aspull
Closed its doors on the 19th September, been mine and many others local pub for many years. I would like to wish Dave and
Sandra the last managers all the best with their new pub in Carlisle.

Sad picture I used to go in there when I lived in aspull ,not enough local support, good luck to the last managers, perhaps the locals should run it

is it still shut?
used to call in after our rugby training sessions at the school across the way - trouble is we always put more back than what we had sweat off!

My uncle and Auntie, Ken and Joyce Robinson ran the New Inn for many years before taking over Aspull British Legion. Another old fashioned pub bites the dust, sad.

So sad to see the new Inn closed down, yet another pub in aspull. I used to go in a few years ago and it was nice and friendly.

We can only lose 'em, we'll NEVER get them back ... a tragic sight !

David--My sentiments exactly!
...and it's sad to see so many closing!

Joe has it right - not enough local support! Several folks in this post are 'former' regulars!!

As former licencees,it is the brewery who get greedy....the more customers you have ...the more you sell.. so the brewery put up your rent etc etc. and of coarse the price of drinks.
