good to see the restoration going a head at red rock looking forward to my next visit. Great to see the lattices winning at Wembley its been along road congartulations to all concerned.
Retoration to what?
Undergoing restoration? I thought it was defunct. A great shame too. I celebrated my engagement (to Jackie Lenegan) there about 50 years ago. It was of course "The Crawford Arms" then.
I remember Mrs Hollingshead waiting on in there, and I used to sing there in the 50/60's. Good old days.
Why do they have to change the name ?
An interesting fact ,the postbox set into the wall is Victoria Regina, still in use . I wonder if there are any more in Wigan. I hope after renovation it reverts to its old name, The Crawford Arms . The paint peeling of the brickwork shows how short sighted it is to cover perfectly good bricks.
Who said its being renovated.
Yes been there, memory coming back, thanks to the delorean
It is being rennovated. Builders were working in it as I drove past yesterday
