She's adorable! Looks like you're having decent weather- this was Mothers Day on this side of the pond,
.....mother Nature wasn't very kind to us in Ontario. We've had wet snow, the Temperature is supposed to drop to zero tonight;....and the fan on our furnace has died, so no heat and I'm FFFFREEEEZING!!!!

FABULOUS - so nice to see that the crazy golf is being used. Well done the volunteers who have made it possible.

On the PGA Tour, Tiger Woods won The Players Championship in Florida yesterday and got $1,710,000. David Lynn, born in Billinge, tied 26th and got $67,450. Total purse $9,500,000.
On the Ladies European Tour, Lee-Ann Pace, from South Africa, won The Turkish Airlines Ladies Open yesterday and got 37,500 euros. Total purse 250,000 euros.

It could be anywhere, but it is in Haigh Country Park... which was in WIGAN when I went to school.

Thanks for all the comments folks and I am glad that it has given so much pleasure. Yes Janice we must organise the P-a-D tournament I am certainly up for it and as a "Friend" can organise the course. As for your comment Jane, a clue to the location was in the second line of the caption. The re-vamped crazy golf is a source of both interest and pleasure and therefore I would suggest is a fitting subject for the Photo-a-Day slot, and this way of showing it (giving pleasure) was my interpretation of this.

Gerald, the simple answer would be I grew up in Holland Moor and left to go to Leeds for Nursing training, then working there until eight months before I emigrated. During that eight months, not wanting,or able to find a temporary job in nursing,I worked at a stocking factory in Skelmersdale new town!
