Excellent framing of a beautiful scene.

Dave excellence personified again, ( thank goodness for spell check ) cheers!!!
Wow that's stunning !!
A lovely colourful, peaceful scene.

Hi Lizzie, no further thoughts on St Peters i'm afraid. Will get back to you if i have any inspiration. I think the problem is we were in different years.
No worries Pat, it is just great that we were at the same school. Most of the schools here have archive photos etc. that can be accessed on the net. Anyway cheers mate!!!!
Dave, may I please take a copy of this beautiful pic for my iPad wallpaper collection? Cheers, Lizzie.
Of course you can Lizzie :-)
That's more like it! Lovely shot Dave, More please. :)
I rode past this bridge when I was riding my bike from Manchester.

What do you mean Jenny by thats more like it, are you a fan of the canal.
Another good one Dave, nice to have Leigh on Photo-a-Day.
Beautiful photo. Stunning colours & I love the reflection
Lovely photo,Oy,was there a temptation to crop?
Thanks Dave, it looks very nice. There is a bridge in the background, what would be the road that goes over it, just curious, cheers!!
Enjoyed your video Mick - excellent background music.
Bridgewater canal is 39 miles long and was opened on 17th July 1761.

When was this photo taken, Dave?
I mean Mick that's it's not a boring shot of a street and a few cars, it's got nice composition and framed to perfection, a truely lovely shot. Is that OK Mick?
No comment on the actual photo Ernie? (that's what it's there for)
Telling us how knowledgable you are, & able to use Google, doesn't quite fit the bill...
Very good shot Dave!!
Yes thats OK Jenny, like you say your talking about the composition and framing of the photo.
A lot of other viewers who have minds of there own dont see the everyday street photos as being boring like you said because they jog there memories and make interesting debates.
Dave Marsh: Yes there was - and I did - but only slightly :-)
I wasn't able to see this yesterday, i wish I had. Thank you so much, it brings back so many happy memories.
Art, you are in the same boat as me.

Isn't it great that we all see things differently? photography is an art form and thus open to interpretation. If you like it - excellent! You share my view and interpretation. If you don't like it - that's fine - you have a different view - that's allowed :) I'd certainly prefer a mix of responses as above than nothing - or a list of "nice shot" with no nothing to say why. Keep them coming :)
I think there are too many competing focal points!
Dunno' why you're why you post something about another thread Ernie.Nowt to do with this one
You fail to comment on the photo on this thread, just like you connected a doctors surgery to a photo of a telephone box.
BTW you have another comment on your community board thread I highlighted earlier..
If I was in the same boat as you, it would be "red flare" time.;o)
Some photographs are about the destination (the focal point) this one is about the journey. I love it.
