Lovely photograph Dan. You have exposed this really well. It is often hard to stop the leaves from looking to bright and 'blown' in clear sunshine. It is amazing the number of photographic opportunties that are around Wigan. I am not a Wiganer but love it.

The beautiful colour of the leaves seem reflected off the spire.

that what you see on the spire is toxic green alge very dangerous if your a bell ringer .
Come to Norfolk Dirty Harry, plenty of ' toxic green stuff ' here but we survive !
