Willow Warbler
Photo: John Burns (Sony A55 slt Vivitar 500mm Manual lens)
Well taken shot John, yesterday there was talk about seeing shapes in the sky. Today I saw a shape which looked like a rodent (centre left). Its probably a leaf.
A well camouflaged little bird... the colour of the flower caught my eye first. We have some in our garden, I understand it is a weed, a very pretty one but I don't know the name of it. Can anyone tell me ?
Nice photo John.
That's some going with a manual lens! Well done!
Nice photo, John. Well caught.
Looks like a very nice lens also.
Nice coloured bird and could be mistaken for a canary.
It looks like Purple Loosestrive Helen.
As Dave says well done John, I just saved it and enlarged it to have a closer look.
Nice one John, never seen one before, like Cyril says a canary, well done on manual.
its the camera dave not lens Sony A55 SLTD 10 frames a second shooting best camera ive ever had .
i had camera set up with 500mm vivitar manual lens and it just appeared ,then gone ,never seen it since . is that Cyril Ashurts ?
Expensive piece of kit the Sony A55. Been replaced by the Sony A57. The numbers sound like the names of roads!
