The windows look like two eyes with eye lashes and tears flowing from them.

Refer:-

Or put `st benedicts hindley`on Google and then scroll down to `St.Benedicts Parish Centre`.
On this website is a map which you can enlarge and it has a little man who you can move and get photo`s which you can also enlarge and rotate.
I`ll not comment about the `sloping` traffic light, Tom !!
Agree Mick - it`s a mournful looking face!

Should have waited until there was less foliage, and until the sun had moved around to give the stone some texture.A bit like lighting a candle and sticking it under a bushel.
Out of ten 4.
As for the the lights .Brilliant

Ron D, Thank you for the advice, however I would have had to wait untill autum for the
foliage to abate and possibly nearly as long for the sun to make an appearance . Marking
pictures on a 1-10 scale,my put some people off submitting photographs,something I'am
sure you wouldn't want.After all,has as been
said recently it is not a competition ,.Regards
Tom.

Could you kindly amend my comment to
as has been said ,Ithink I have put them the othrer way round,if the comment has already been posted not to worry this comment not for posting, Regards Tom .

I agree with Tom it's not a competition, if no one submitted pictures there wouldn't be a photo a day, what suits one doesn't suit another, just try to keep them varied and `hopefully' interesting.

Thomas .Whether its a competition or not .You must be competitive.Get the best possible picture, even if you have to wait for it.
If marking out of ten puts some off ,maybe it will make them try harder.Try marking tomorrow's pick.
Better than reading poetry.

Nice photo Tom, I must have passed that church hundreds of times but never looked at it properly.

Can remember when kids with throw away cameras submitted photos to photo-a-day thats what this page is all about. Not for photos to be pulled to peices by so called experts or digitaly enhanced.Keep your snapshots coming.

A Nice photo Tom, it would have been even better had you taken a shot of the interior of the church as well.It is quite impressive.

Comment by: Ernest Pyke on 18th July 2012 at 22:09

Ron D, why must one have to be competitive when taking a photo?

Comment by: Barbara on 20th July 2012 at 12:40

Why can't everyone enjoy the photos and stop complaining.
Love Photo -a-day
