That was my church..we go past it often..has anyone noticed how clean the statue of St.Joseph is..it never seems to pick up all the grime and car fumes...thank you Andrew.

I pass St Joseph's everytime I go to Wigan, really is a great shame that it's falling in to dereliction.

That's the church I belonged to..we go past it very often..has anyone noticed how clean the statue of St.Joseph is seeing that it's among all the car fumes etc..thank you Andrew for the lovely photo.

I belonged to St Williams Church really but I often went to 4 o'clock Mass at St Joseph's on Sunday afternoons. I was at the final Mass before it closed down on 27th October 1995. It was a lovely old church.

i agree maureen,i have seen the statue many times and commented on how can it be so clean ?
