Looks like bickershaw colliery to me, i remmember getting my head down to the left, slept for hours until it was time to go up pit for a well earned shower ! Yawn.....oh happy days slept like a log them days.
To Steve, There has allways been good for nothing lazy sods in this country like you, Sleeping down pit disgusting, You would have been the first to cry if they docked your pay,

Good photo Stew.I thoght abusive language was banned on this site Someone is;nt checking.
It was against mining laws and legistlation to sleep underground....putting lives at risk including your own, so try engaging brain before mouth!
BTW this is a well composed photograph, well done!
