Eckersley Mill
I just love all those red bricks, they have a shine to them, not like red bricks anywhere else.
I believe my dad, Bill Bradshaw started his working life at Eckersleys.
photo looks vibrant,I try to imagine what the streets/mill would have looked like.cobbled streets, smoking chimneys, gas lights etc.
This picture shows a lot, and does it well.
thats a fantastic photo
Great picture. The bricks that the houses are built from are Accrington Brick, one of my favourite bricks.
There are some fantastic urban views of our town and this just shows one to perfection.
In his review of Nikon cameras Thom Hogan gives the D3 awards 100% he awards the D40 100% as well. I can see why now.
A lovely picture ruined yet again by the traffic!!
