The only way to stop this sort of thing is to ban cars from entering Wigan.
These photos a day are getting like a building site.
is that just for the railway or any one, it seems out of the way for town centre shops if its public, but as you say Brian, another monstrosity, as if there aren't enough as it is
Its for anyone who is willing to pay Aitch and its only 200 yards from the ton centre so people can park and shop.
I think its good idea to make this car park bigger then more people will park and ride to Manchester.
You can park and ride from Appley Bridge and Gathurst and its free parking.
I totally agree Mick. Let's have some brighter photos to brighten our day.
I have seen complaints about the lack of parking in Wigan for shoppers... so when that parking is provided there are still complaints.
It is something that will have to be lived with as long as people want to drive into Town to do their shopping. Unlike modern new towns parking has to be 'wedged' into the existing town plan... and it does not always look scenic. But having said that, how will this look when finished? All we are seeing in the steel skeleton, it may look okay once cladded with an exterior shell.
It will be the nicest brightest structure in that area Caddy because all the rest is like a dump.
BTW why are you not in bed are at work ?
