If anyone's wondering why this has a strange soft look to parts of it - it's a long exposure in not far off total darkness - so the tress etc were moving in the wind.
More than luck Dave. You are a wonderful photographer. I particularly love your wildlife photographs.

Have you ever thought of publishing your photos in a book? ... "The best of Wigan" ... this is just a fabulous photo ...
Oh I wish I blame my camera not me ha ha wouldnt these look lovely framed on the wall and my friends think Wigan is all grime little do they know
How about a callender.If you produced one I am sure i could personally sell 20.There you go it is your first order.
I've been thinking of a book for a while - but it would be expensive in small numbers. A calendar I hadn't considered - but will consider it for 2010. Could be a goer :)
Excellent composition and so many memories. I used to spend many an hour fishing on the canal towpath.
Keep up the good work. I enjoy seeing all the pictures on the site but I think it's fair to say yours are among the best.
