You learn something new everyday, I must walk past this three or four times a week. I had no idea it was a temperance bar originally.

we used to go past there everyday, as we used to live on clarington grove, and you can just see the sign writing above the window, but you have to look closely

Exactly looks like the monument masons on Darlington Street. I can't remember the name of the man who used to own the business. Perhaps he still does.

My mum was born at this property on Darlington Street in 1928, she was Mary Edwards (nee Moores) I think either her father Albert Moores ran the temperance bar. If anyone has any information please leave a comment.
